Why Kalpataru Serenity flat-buyers in Pune got dissatisfied & angry

  Kalpataru Serenity at Manjri in Pune is a much-sought-after gated community. Seekers of premium flats are attracted to this exclusive housing project by the glossy brochures and slick sales talk. Miha Hribar, a foreign national, and his wife Padmashree Ghangale, an NRI, were no different. But when they got possession of their flat in early 2019, they were so shocked by the harsh ground realities that they wanted to give the flat back, and get their money back. Needless to say, Kalpataru builders did not oblige, and their sales office reportedly came across in a rude and threatening manner when Miha and Padmashree persisted. The angry couple aired their dissatisfaction in a YouTube video, and the builder slapped them with a defamation notice. 😡 Kalpataru, give me my missing 206 sq ft carpet area, says flat-buyer

  Padmashree Ghangale and her Slovenian husband Miha Hribar were shocked to discover that the 781 sq ft carpet area flat that Padmashree bought at Kalpataru Serenity while working abroad is smaller by 206 sq feet. In other words, her flat at Kalpataru Serenity, Manjri, Pune, is about 36 percent smaller than promised. It is by no stretch of imagination a spacious flat. The bedrooms are tiny. The couple, who returned from Europe to settle down in India, were running from pillar to post in search of justice to make Kalpataru to either give them a flat that is of the proper carpet area, or else refund their hard-earned money with interest and compensation. Report says Lodha flat is really 12% smaller than agreement

3rd January, 2019, Mumbai: In November 2017, we published an article titled, " Measure your flat, Lodha Group has cheated you ". Anil Kapur (name changed), the owner of a 1BHK studio apartment at Lodha Belmondo project, near Pune, took our advice seriously. He hired a chartered engineer & valuer to measure his flat. The engineer-valuer's report finding is that the actual carpet area is over 12 percent less than the 490 square feet mentioned in the registered agreement. The actual carpet area is 430 sq ft i.e. 60 sq. ft. less. Even if we count "exclusive terrace" and "exclusive balcony" area, the Belmondo flat is 30 sq. ft. less! The workers use the key to enter your flat whenever they want. Forget seeking your permission, they don't even inform you, and they don't even ring the doorbell. They just open the door and take you by surprise! This is the situation that the people of Lodha Belmondo project near Pune have been experiencing.  Anil Kapur (name changed) bought a studio apartment in the much-hyped Lodha Belmondo project and took possession in January 2018.
