  What is the image that Lodha is projecting to people living abroad? NRIs, PIOs, expats and Indians living and working abroad will carry a very poor impression of Indian real estate industry, based on Lodha NCP. The conduct of builders towards even their wealthy customers is unbecoming, and the build quality of the flats is visibly shoddy. Edrea D'Costa and her husband Sunil D'Souza have had a bad experience with Lodha builders. Having paid their entire consideration amount of Rs 2.8 cr, they are still not allowed to enter their own flat and measure it. Until recently, they were not even allowed to enter the compound; they were stopped at the gate, and allowed to go to the clubhouse if they wished, but not to their own building, and certainly not to the front door of their own flat where the nameplate of Sunil D'Souza is prominently seen!   After residents and I shot a lot of videos at Shilp Thard's flat, and outside also, at Dioro tower of Lodha NCP on Lohri (13th Jan 2019), we left in good humour. The Lodha security and bouncers accompanied us till we were safely out of the gate. At the end of the day, we had both lightened up, and we had no ill feelings towards the watchmen and bouncers, who were only following instructions given by their higher ups.   We were obstructed from going around the parking basement. It seems Lodha management thinks it can decide the rights of residents like Shilpi Thard, who owns two flats in Dioro worth Rs 6 crore. Has Lodha management declared the rules for residents? They are in Lodha's kingdom, and so they must live within the boundaries of Lodha's unwritten rules.
