  There is some respite for those whose developers have failed to refund booking amounts despite a cancellation. A recent judgement by the District Forum in Mumbai pulled up the Lodha Group, along with its chairman and MD, for giving false assurances to one of its customers and illegally forfeiting the booking amount.
